How a 5 year old decorates a rice cake - because he does not care what it looks like - or what it is as long as he is able to "do it myself..."
The disguise worked well - only the 14 year old suspected that something was up - she also is smart enough to know that if she spoke up and gave away the secret - she may possibly lose her birthday. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by. I am so glad you did.
Blessings,
~Jane

Very clever idea!! ;-)
clever, clever! The little boy in the pic is a doll.
Those are just as cute as can be!
cute idea...every once in awhile (even when I have nothing to hide) - I like to liven up the kid's plate by making people or pictures out of the food.
I'm really interested in bento lunches (not sure if the bento is just the name of the lunch box) - which is a Japanese way of making food look beautiful - and the lunch boxes (bento boxes) are so creative.
Anyway - I think if food looks attractive, kids (and adults) will be more likely to want to eat it.
These are so much fun! I will have to make these for my 4 year old, she will be thrilled.
That is so cute and your home looks lovely.
