Embarrassment Brings Humility?

This is what happens when you fold clothes late at night - after homeschooling, housekeeping, and cooking. You know your wasted when you know they don't match - (because you noticed the blunder while picking up spilled matchbox cars from the floor) - but you figure there is no real reason to change them right then.
~
However, you feel like an idiot when you realize that the revelation hit you in the morning - you forgot about it throughout the day - then opened your home up for a Ladies Bible study that evening.

Oh, well - at least my slip was not showing!

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Thanks so much for stopping in. I am glad you did!

Blessings,

Oh too funny! If it makes you feel any better I once wore 2 different tennis shoes to work--one was a tie up and the other a velcro! LOL!

I bet that made the ladies all happy. That was a funny story. I have a friend that went to church with different shoes on when her three boys were very young. She laughed and laughed in church. We could all see her shaking and laughing quietly, then after church we asked her why and she showed us her black and brown shoes.

That is great!
I was in the middle of a store once when I realized that each of my feet had a different feel as I walked. I had two different navy blue shoes on. The heels were different heights.
It must have been a very busy day for me to take that long to notice!
Ahhh...the life of a Mom, Friend, teacher, homemaker, wife.....
Blessings on your day!

When I was a senior in high school I bought 2 pairs of canvas shoes for my senior trip to DC. One pair was lighter in color. You know what's coming . . . . . Our first evening there we went out for a great time of sight seeing and dinner. When I got off the van I looked down . . . . 2 different shoes on my feet.

Good times
