Our First Set of Meetings

Our meetings went very good. Rob preached on the importance of the Word of God in our families. What a solid base we have if God's Word is held in high regard! After the morning service, the church hosted a potluck lunch. We enjoyed lasagna, spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, and yummy desserts. It was a wonderful meal!

We were able to enjoy going over to the pastor's house for the afternoon and fellowshipping with him and his family. We enjoyed fantastic Turkey and Dumpling soup and homemade bread for dinner. It was sooooo yummy!

Monday night was more than interesting. Rob and I gave our testimony of how God's grace saved our marriage and how God has worked in our lives. It is always neat to look back and see how much God has done for us in our marriage. What a mighty God we serve! We headed back home after the evening service on Monday, through drifts and piles of snow. It took us quite a while to get home. We were thankful for the safe trip home.

We concluded our meeting this evening. It went well. Rob preached on communication. We enjoyed fellowshipping with the church members after the service and enjoying homemade doughnuts for a treat. (I have been promised the recipe - to which my children are excited!)

We headed home this evening rejoicing in what God has called us to do. We count it a privilege to be able to be used in the service of the King.

Trust your week is going well. Thanks so much for stopping by - I am glad you did.

Blessings,

~Martie
