We Have Arrived

We are in North Carolina.  The boxes are pretty much all unpacked and life is starting to feel like a new normal.

We are renting a house in the rural mountains of North Carolina.  I can not begin to tell you how much I love it here!  I have always wanted to live out in the country.  I have dreamed about it till sometimes I could almost cry.  I wanted to have elbow room.  I wanted the kids to be able to run around outside without having to worry about neighbors and cars.  I never thought it would happen; but it has!

The move I was so unsure of has brought me to a place where I thought I would only dream of being.

I have been awakened; not by the sound of my alarm clock - but by the sound of cows being let out to pasture.  I am living my dream.

Rob strung a clothes line out behind the back of the house and I have been happily hanging my laundry.

We have a stray cat that we feed on the deck in the evenings.  The deck in the morning has become my favorite place to have my morning coffee and read my Bible before the kids get up for the day.  (Up till today my coffee has been hot; however this morning I broke out a sweat drinking it hot.  I think I may be moving to iced coffee till this heat spell breaks!)

So, this is just a quick post to tell you that all is well here.  We are in and getting settled in.  I will post more later.

Thanks for stopping by.  I am so glad you did.
