Eggceptional Mitten's

Good Morning! - and a chilly one at that! I am glad you stopped in. I thought I would share with you what I am doing with my holiday cookie cutters.

On this particular morning, the kids got up and we had toast and eggs. I cut out the center of the bread with the mitten cutter and cracked and egg into the center. The kids thought it was great! I did not want to waste the center piece so I put a little butter onto the mitten itself and toasted it along with the eggs and bread. Then when it was finished, I sprinkled a little cinnamon and sugar on it.

It was a perfect breakfast for the morning. One, in the fact that was festive - and the mitten's added a fitting touch with the snow we received this weekend. It also was great because Zak is still at Nana's and he is allergic to eggs. I always replace the eggs in the recipe with something he can have - but this morning I did not have to think quite that hard! :)

I think the kids enjoyed their winter breakfast.

Thanks for stopping by. Stay warm.

I have never seen this type of breakfast before - but it sure looks like a great one for children! I can't wait to try it!
